"Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" PC modders are asked to play nice in terms of development, or else it will be the game's last outing for PC fans. Players of the game can only speculate on what "playing nice" actually means, but it's likely in reference to the title's skimpy-clothed characters.

"Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" for the PC launches next month, but there's still the possibility the game won't be released if users give in to the temptation of doing unsavory things to the characters.

"We have to deal with mod issues from an IP holder perspective," Koei Tecmo producer Yosuke Hayashi insisted. "We would like to ask PC users to play our game in good and moral manner. Otherwise, we won't be able to release a title for PC again."

The "Dead or Alive" franchise is known to feature characters wearing skimpy clothing, the female combatants with voluptuous physiques to boot. IGN reports Hayashi didn't elaborate on what he meant by "moral," but inferred it was in reference to the game's traditionally attractive, barely-clothed characters.

"Our characters, male and female alike, are created in a fantasy setting and are using extraordinary abilities to compete with each other in a clearly light-hearted, over-the-top universe," Hayashi continued. "Their abilities are very balanced and we want to present all of them as dynamic, strong, sexy, and confident."

The newest installment to the series will involve a total of thirty-four characters, with Honoka just revealed as a playable fighter.

The "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" release date has been pushed by more than four weeks, from February 17 to March 30. The game's Steam listing assured fans the delay was to ensure players have the best gaming experience possible after launch.

To compensate for the setback, the game will be launched on Steam with the Halloween 2013 Set, a bundle which comes with twenty-eight previously released costumes thrown in.
