Actor Lee Min Ho ditches the rugged and mature look of “Gangnam 1970” for the appealing boy-next-style of TNGT. On February 12, TNGT, which is also known as Today 'N Going On Tomorrow, released photos featuring the Hallyu Star.
In the upcoming Spring/Summer campaign called Lee Min Ho's Real City Life, the actor approaches various style concepts ranging from business casual to relaxed denim looks.
TNGT is a Korean menswear company with a primary target audience of fashion-forward college students and professionals. The photos released by the company portray the star in various scenes ranging from dog-walking to a coy photo where he appears to be reading a book.
The star has served as the face for many profile companies, following the success of the mega hit drama “Boys Over Flowers.” Other endorsements for the actor include LINE messaging in Korea and Yadea for Chinese consumers.
The styles featured in the pictorial are a departure from the buttoned-up suited concepts that were prominently used in “Gangnam 1970.”
“Gangnam 1970” has provided the actor with his first major film role. The movie served as his acting return following the success of the 2013 SBS drama “The Heirs.”
Set with the 1970s, the film incorporates polyester suits and other fashions were prominent during the era.
“Gangnam 1970” is the third film in the Director Yoo Ha's street series. Actor Kim Rae Won also stars in the film along with Seolhyun of AOA. The film has proven to be a commercial success within the domestic market and had a limited opening in the United States on February 6.
The movie will be released to Chinese audiences in March. Additional scenes featuring the popular actor and Seolhyun will be incorporated into the release for Chinese theaters.
