The "Final Fantasy XV" release date has been allegedly leaked online and that "FFXV" would be allegedly available by May 2016.

Previously, Sony confirmed in their official PlayStation blog that "Final Fantasy XV" is not going to be released this 2015.

Sony revealed all of the known release dates of every game that would come out this 2015 while listing down all the games that would be released this 2015 but with no official release date.

The list by Sony does not include "Final Fantasy XV" but "Final Fantasy Type 0 HD" (which is set to be released on March 17), "Final Fantasy VII" and "Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster" were included thus revealing that the "Final Fantasy XV" release date is going to be on 2016.

And now, Cyberland has reported that the "Final Fantasy XV" release date is allegedly going to be on May 2016 and that Square Enix wants to wait for E3 2015 to release the game and a few more months for the game to gather hype.

"My sources tell me that it can be confirmed that FFXV will be available on May 2016. Square Enix would use E3 to build hype for the game and they would wait a few more months to get hype boiling similar to what Rocksteady is doing to the Arkham Knight right now," wrote Cyberland.

Meanwhile, Forbes has reported that Square Enix revealed new footage of the combat of the "Final Fantasy XV".

"We're now getting some more gameplay footage for Final Fantasy 15. In the latest of these we're taken underground to look at the game's dungeons," wrote Forbes.

Forbes then continued, "What you can see clearly in this new footage is that this is very much an action game. Now this is not an overly new discovery but the consistency of the footage thus far is noteworthy."

"While the new combat mechanics allow you to warp distances to enemies, in enclosed spaces it doesn't seem all that useful. With the combat seeming somewhat frenetic as a result," wrote Forbes.
