'Kingdom Hearts 3' Update: 'Final Fantasy' Heroes Tidus, Wakka, And Selphie Return To The Game Rumored As 'KH3' Will Have A 2016 Release For The PS4 And Xbox One!

Square Enix has unveiled new updates and game details for "Kingdom Hearts 3's" returning Final Fantasy characters and possible release date.

Square Enix has been busy preparing its line up of games such as "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" and the "Final Fantasy XV" demo for next week, and now, the Japanese gaming company has shared several details on "Kingdom Hearts 3's" development.

According to MOVIEPILOT, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will have other playable characters besides Sora as the website hints that players can now control Donald, Goofy, Lea, and Rikku in the game. This mainly due to the fact that Square Enix is planning to have online multiplayer co-op as they posted new job application in its official website.

"The Kingdom Hearts games have mainly only been single player experiences. It’ll be interesting if an online co-op mode will be added to Kingdom Hearts III. One player could be Sora, while the other two players could be Donald Duck and Goofy," Attack of the Fanboy reports.

Other characters are also rumored to join the game as CrossMaps reportedly noted that several Disney characters are also returning in the game such as "Simba," "Captain Jack Sparrow," "Snow White and the seven dwarfs," "Mulan" and "Tarzan".

That's not all, savecontinue.com reports that Noctis, Fran, Balthier, and Warrior of Light are rumored to join the game representing the Final Fantasy characters; however, the website further adds that Selphie from "FFVIII," Tidus and Wakka of "FFX" are also making a comeback in "Kingdom Hearts 3."

These three characters were the childhood friends of Sora, Rikku, and Kairi on Destiny Island during the events of the first "Kingdom Hearts" game.

As for its release date of "Kingdom Hearts 3", Gameranx has reported that Square Enix might release date sooner than expected due to theory made by TheGamerJoint regarding of both 'KH3' and 'FFXV'.

"Kingdom Hearts 3" is likely to have 2016 release date because the game is not included in Sony's list of vidoe games for 2015, while retailing websites such as Amazon.com, and Walmart both claimed that the game will be out on October or December this year.
