Eva Mendes Celebrates Birthday With Ryan Gosling And Baby Esmeralda; 'Hitch' Actress Rocks Green Trench Coat

Eva Mendes marked her birthday as she wore a green trench coat while celebrating her birthday with husband Ryan Gosling and baby Esmeralda.

The couple has been very private about baby Esmeralda and on Thursday, while they were out celebrating Eva Mendes' birthday, baby Esmeralda was also kept under a thick blanket away from the prying cameras of the paparazzi.

"In fact, the secretive couple might even have been trying to put folks off the scent by using a blue baby blanket with motifs of basketball and soccer balls on it, giving the impression that the occupant of the baby carrier was a boy," Daily Mail said.

Reportedly, the "Drive" actor threw a birthday party for the "Training Day" actress, who just turned 41 years old, at the Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale, California.

However, the British publication said it's highly unlikely that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling left behind baby Esmeralda on the model's special day.

"Whether we like it or not, privacy is going to be very difficult for Esmeralda. I think it's unfair but that's our reality," the model/actress told Violet Grey magazine, per Daily Mail. "So Ryan and I decided early on to give her as much privacy as we could."

When she was the guest on "Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Dec. 3, Eva Mendes talked her and Ryan Gosling's adjustment about the baby.

"You know we're getting the hang of it, the sleeping thing, but yeah I'm exhausted and it's the best...Really, I'm so incredibly tired. I thought I was tired before at times, but no. Nothing like this, but I wouldn't have it any other way," she added.

After giving birth to baby Esmeralda in November, Eva Mendes is back to work as she filmed a commercial for the New York & Company at Times Square just days earlier. The model has credited breastfeeding for allowing her to lose the baby weight so quickly.
