'Fairy Tail' Season 6 Trailer Teases 'Tartarus' Arc Storyline [VIDEO] As Cast List For The Nine Demon Gates Revealed Online!
Good news anime fans as wizard themed anime "Fairy Tail" returns for a new season along with a new trailer and cast members.
According to AnimeNewsNetwork, the official Japanese website of Fairy Tail began streaming a new trailer for season 6 that features a new storyline called "Tartarus" arc.
The video reads, "A new story begins from a village where giants are encased in ice!! A creeping new enemy... Suddenly taking a child's form... The new chapter, Tartarus arc, enters the battle! This will be a one-sided extermination. No one will remain alive."
In the trailer, Natsu, Lucy and the rest of the gang are on a new mission as several scene revealed the "Sun Village" arc were in Fairy Tail is tasked to investigate Sun Village at the request one of the ten wizard saints, Warrod Sequen.
The Sun Village and its residents were frozen and Erza is transformed into a child at some point in the anime.
The trailer further shows old enemies, as former Sabretooth guild member Minerva joins a dark guild called Succubus Eye, and she is accompanied by her new teammate Doriate.
The trailer ends with all nine members of the dark guild called Tartarus.
AnimeNewsNetwork has reported that new cast members for "Fairy Tail" season 6 have been revealed courtesy of the 17th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine.

In the Fairy Tail manga, Tartarus is one of the three most dangerous Dark Guilds along with Oración Seis and Grimoire Heart. The guild is also credited as the most mysterious of the three, because the Magic council has limited nformation about them, and they are led by their mysterious guild master, E.N.D.
Unlike other wizards Tartarus uses "curses" instead of magic as they claim that curses are more powerful than magic, and most of the members have the appearances and names of a demon.
The Tartarus arc began in Hiro Mashima's manga in October 2013 with the 356th chapter and ended with the 416th chapter in January.
"Fairy Tail" season 6 will air on April 4, 2015.
