It looks like new updates for Marvel's new Netflix series "Daredevil" have been revealed, regarding new details on the "classic" red costume and two new characters for a possible season 2.

According to Screenrant, "Daredevil" star Charlie Cox has revealed new details on the development of Matt Murdock's red costume in the Netflix series during a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything).

Several fans have asked Cox on what costume does his character prefer to wear in the series; the black ninja suit or the classic red costume.

“I love both of the suits," Cox answered. "Obviously, it was great to involve the John Romita Jr. black ninja costume, but the day I first put on the iconic costume is a day I will never forget.”

Cox further adds, “Obviously, I had to learn quite a few skill sets for this role. The main ones being: Blindness, forms of martial arts and the American accent. However, the greater part of my preparation was spent reading comics. I think you will find influence from many of the DD writers and illustrators over the years. Personally, I found Bendis/Maleev runs incredibly helpful in terms of the tone of our show.”

Marvel's chief creative officer Joe Quesada has explained his reasons why the black costume will be introduced in series rather than the red, Blastr reports.

"We had to come up with a logic for it, It was a delicate balance, because the stories we're telling are so real-world. Matt starts out in a homemade outfit that develops slowly, Quesada said. "As he starts getting the crap kicked out of him on the streets, he adds padding little by little."

Moviepilot claimed that Daredevil's red costume will be similar to his appearance in the 2004 storyline "Secret War".

Aside from the costume, Cox also explained a possible Daredevil appearance with the Avengers as Screenrant previously reported that his character could join the new Avengers team in "Captain America: Civil War" film.

"I have no idea if this is even a possibility, but I can tell you that I would love nothing more. I don’t see why the character from our show couldn't fit in with the Avengers, if he was invited," Cox said.

Cox also expresses his desire to work with some of his favorite actors/characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"I really think Chris Evans does an amazing job as Captain America, and I happen to think him and Daredevil would work well together. Other than that, Black Widow?…Can you blame me?" Cox said.

Lastly, there are rumors making rounds that "Daredevil" series showrunner Steven DeKnight hinted new characters for the show very soon.

According to ComicBook.com, DeKnight revealed that Elektra and Bullseye will be introduced in season 2 of the show.

“Looking forward, there are so many stories to tell,”Steven DeKnight told SciFiNow. “The Hand, Elektra, Bullseye… with a 13-episode arc you don’t have to rush it; you can explore. That’s not to say we are going to do Bullseye and Elektra, but it’s on the radar.”

"Daredevil" will premiere in Netflix on April 10, 2015.
