Kim Tae Hee Learns How to Sew for “Jang Ok Jung Lives For Love.”

Actress Kim Tae Hee is working hard for her character in “Jang Ok Jung Lives For Love.”

New pictures of the actress practicing and learning how to sew were recently revealed.

In the pictures, the actress and director of hanbok (Korean traditional dress) store “Dan Hanbok” which is the official store that will provide the costumes for the SBS drama; are working together to help the actress with her character.

Kim Tae Hee will play the role of a fashion designer in the Joseon Dynasty, she will be the leader and first women to become recognized for fashion and make up in that time.

It was said that the actress surprised everyone with her sewing skills and was praised for her great skills despite being a newbie with sewing. She is showing great commitment and passion for her role, in her first historical drama.

On the other hand, "Jang Ok Jung, Lives for Love" is a story about Jan Hee Bin, a famous concubine in the Joseon Dynasty, who was accused of being behind Queen In Hyun's death. Her character has been portrait many times, but in "Jang Ok Jung, Live for Love" the story will be focused on her lady-in-waiting to Queen Dowager Jangnyeol status and as a make-up and fashion designer in the Joseon Dynasty.

The drama will start airing in April in the Monday-Tuesday slot, following "Yawang."
