Han Groo Confirms That She Is Dating Someone Who Isn't Famous
On May 20, actress Han Groo confirmed her 7-month relationship with an unnamed person, who is not a celebrity. Her dating status was substantiated by her agency, following the release of a photo collage featuring the couple, which the actress posted to her Instagram account.
Representatives for her agency, Climix, denied previous knowledge of the relationship. An article published by the Korean outlet Star News included statements from her agency while carrying the headline that the 23-year-old actress was dating a "very ordinary man." In the statement published by Star News a representative for Climix commented that the relationship, "is one of love."
The representative went on to provide clarification about the man she is dating. "We are asking for privacy, because her boyfriend is a very ordinary man," said the representative.
An article published by TV Report provided further information about the happy couple. "At first, we were unaware of the situation, which is part of her private life," said a representative for the actress. "After checking with her, we discovered that she is currently dating."
Han debuted as the leading actress in the 2011 action drama, "Girl K." She followed her appearance in the series with several supporting roles before receiving acclaim for her portrayal of Joong Jang Mi in the 2014 romantic comedy, "Marriage, Not Dating." Jang Mi was a hopeless romantic who captured the hearts of viewers in a drama which kept audiences guessing until the final episode.
Confirmation of her relationship followed the Instagram release of a photo which depicted the actress and her boyfriend. On May 20, she posted the picture on her Instagram account, along with the caption "Be happy."
