Han Seung Yeon, member of girl group Kara, talks about how nervous she was while filming.

The singer and actress the attended the press conference from her upcoming drama “Jang Ok Jung Live for Love” held at the the SBS Ilsan Production Center located in Goyang.

At the event, attended only by the main actresses (Kim Tae Hee, Hong Soo Hyeon, Han Seung Yeon) Han Seung Yeon said, “Since I decided to appear in the drama, I was really exciting to start filming, but it was very difficult for me. I was really nervous about every little detail, even walking. I was happy because I didn’t get any negative feedback yet.”

She added, “My role comes in the latter part of the drama, but I appear in the first episode. I play the evil role alongside Hong Soo Hyeon, which is not what history says. I think it will be fun to see this new side.”

She finished by saying, “I know people might be worried about my appearance in a historical drama, I even thought it was weird, but I will work hard to show my acting skills, and become an actress the public is comfortable with.”

Han Seung Yeon will play the role of Sook Bin. She is a royal concubine who used to be a maid. She will fight with Kim Tae Hee for King Sukjong's (Yoo Ah In) love.

“Jang Ok Jung Live for Love” will premiere on Monday April 8th, at 10PM (KST).
