On July 21, Lee Jong Suk posted one of his first substantial messages since dating rumors involving Park Shin Hye.

The 25-year-old actor took to Instagram (@jongsuk0206) to express his frustration with a situation, other than his relationship rumors. "Distressingly, things that I'm not aware of, keep happening," said Lee. "I'm reporting that I'm still surviving."

His agency, Wellmade Yedang, issued a statement addressing his post. An article published by Sports Donga addressed his Instagram message while providing insight from his agency.

"The SNS [messages] were not related to dating news, but a private problem," said a representative for Wellmade.

While it has not been uncommon for Lee to use his social media to address concerns, most of his Instagram posts are dedicated to self-taken photos and lighthearted content.

Sports Donga went on to discuss the increased speculation which surfaced from the message. Many assumed that the tone of his post and strong wording referred to the on-going investigation from tabloids regarding the status of his personal interactions with actress Park Shin Hye.

Both Lee and Park have denied that they are dating, but the on-screen couple received increased attention since initial reports from the Korean publication Dispatch, which claimed to confirm their relationship.

In addition to portraying a romantically involved pair in the SBS drama, "Pinocchio," they have appeared together in endorsement ads for Millet.

On July 19, Lee Jong Suk delivered a special guest appearance at the Seoul fan meeting of his real-life friend, Kim Woo Bin. Kim confirmed his relationship with Shin Min Ah on July 22.
