Park Seo Joon And Hwang Jung Eum Become Lovers In First Teaser For 'She Was Pretty'
MBC recently released the first teaser for the upcoming romantic comedy, "She Was Pretty." "She Was Pretty" reunites "Kill Me, Heal Me" stars Park Seo Joon and Hwang Jung Eum, who transition from their previous roles as adoptive siblings to woo viewers as a sweet couple.
The first video teaser for the series provides insight into the personality of the on-screen couple. In the teaser, Hwang hints at the level of romance that will be delivered in the series.
The pair is depicted with coffee and Park questions why they need to drink it before watching the television. "You have to drink this, when you watch this drama," said Hwang. "Because it's so sweet."

Park Seo Joon is Ji Sung Joon, a man who was teased during his teenage years for lackluster appearance and low-self esteem. In adulthood, he is a financially successful editor, who is praised for his good looks.
Hwang Jung Eum portrays Kim Hye Jin, a once-beautiful girl whose family once owned a thriving publishing company. She experiences great hardships when her father dies and her family loses their publishing business. Hye Jin struggles as a poor adult who reflects on her former attractiveness.
Hye Jin and Sung Joon are reunited as adults and are faced with the reversal of their circumstances. Sung Joon used to love Hye Jin, but their love has the potential to be ill-fated.
Audiences face the challenge of accepting Park Seo Joon and Hwang Jung Eum as an actual couple, following the success of their roles in "Kill Me, Heal Me." While there was a slight love line between the pair in the series, their situation as adopted siblings, prevented the full development of romance.
"She Was Pretty" also stars Super Junior's Choi Siwon as Kim Shin Hyuk, a man who is known for his psychotic personality. The main cast is rounded out with Go Joon Hee, who previously starred with Hwang in the 2011 MBC drama, "Can You Hear My Heart?"
"She Was Pretty" is scheduled to premiere on September 16, in the time slot currently occupied by "Scholar Who Walks the Night."
