Yoo Seung Ho Keeps Getting Love Calls

Since actor Yoo Seung Ho's discharge from military duty in December 2014 he's had quite a few casting offers.

Many actors wait until they are older to fulfill their mandatory military service worried that a two-year absence will hurt their careers. Yoo, who started acting as a child, signed up for his military service when he was 19. And his absence has not hurt his career at all. Before he even completed his military service he was flooded with offers.

First he appeared in the film "The Joseon Magician" and now he has two drama offers, one confirmed, one still being considered. He already confirmed his role in the drama "Imagine Cat,"  which is based on a webtoon, In that drama he plays Hyun Jong Hyun, a webtoon artist and part time bookstore employee. Hyun Jong Hyun's personality stands between him and the realization of his artistic dreams. That may be why he spends a lot of time with his car. The drama tells a story from Hyun's point of view and then also from the cat's point of view. The cat provides a source of comfort and support as Hyun goes through difficult times. He may even help Hyun become a better person.

Shortly after he took that role, fans learned he was considering another. On public October 13 an SBS affiliate told the Korean media outlet My Daily, that the actor received a love call from the producers of a legal thriller.

"Yoo Seung Ho got a love call from the new SBS drama 'Remember' but he hasn't confirmed that he will take the role yet. He is looking over it right now among other various projects. Right now we have to decide on his schedule and it won't be an easy decision."

If he does agree to appear in the drama he would play Seo Woo Bin, a young man with hyperthymesia. A person with that condition possesses an extremely detailed memory. This condition helps Seo Woo Bin become a lawyer, which he does to prove his father's innocence. However, he then loses his memory.

The role was originally offered to Lee Jong Suk.

'Remember' will run after "The Village: Achiara's Secret," starring Moon Geun Young and Yook Sung Jae. "Imagine Cat" is due to air in November. So "Remember" could not possibly air before December.

Yoo Seung Ho's last drama role was playing a manipulative murderer in the drama "Missing You" with co-stars Park Yoo Chun and Yoon Eun Hye.
