Song Ji Hyo first talked about the YouTube milestone while opening the award, according to a report from Koreaboo. She said she had gotten the plaque's requirements wrong.
She said in the video that she was surprised when she said, "I originally thought the silver button was given at 500,000 subscribers. When people talked about the silver button, I wondered, 'Why are they saying that?' But it turned out to be at 100,000."
The actress also said she was excited about her growing channel and what she plans to do with it in the future.
She talked about her plans to keep the platform going, saying, "It's so cool. I'll do fun things and share more stories until we reach one million."
Song Ji Hyo kept the lighthearted tone going by joking about the award's design while holding it up for everyone to see.
She joked,"It looks like a beer bottle opener," and "It's like a mirror." when she looked at the plaque.
Song Ji Hyo also talked about why she started a YouTube channel during the Q&A. Naver reported that the actress wanted the platform to show a more relaxed and real version of herself to her fans.
She said, "It's a way to communicate and show a more natural side of myself."to explain why she joined YouTube.
But when people asked her about her lingerie business, the tone changed. Song Ji Hyo seemed upset as she talked about the subject, which makes it clear that it is still a sensitive issue for her.
In the video, she said, "If I talk about it now, I might cry," and confessed, "The products are good, but I'm sad that many people don't know about them."
The actress also talked openly about how she deals with stress and emotional problems in her life.
She said, "I'm sensitive, get hurt easily, and am delicate," but added, "When I really feel down, I take 2 to 3 days off without doing anything. I think deeply but briefly organize my thoughts, then shake it off and feel better."
