Sandra Bullock says she is already teaching her five-year-old son, Louis about racism and other preconceptions linked with different races.

In an interview with BET, Sandra Bullock said that her son, Louis may not understand all the complexities of different races and racism but at this early stage he is definitely aware of them.

"He fully understands what that means," Sandra Bullock said when asked if Louis Bardo, who is black, had been taught about preconceptions linked with races all over the world. Sandra Bullock also claimed that her son knows that there is sexism in the current world and tha there are people who judge each other by the color of their skin.

"The Blind Side" actress also revealed in BET that at this early age she wants her son to be aware of all aspects of humanity, and which things are good and which are bad. "Once he leaves that house and I'm not with him, it's his life and how he approaches it is his decision. But I want to know that I did the best I could as his mom to educate him on the ugliness in the world, and also the beauty."

Sandra Bullock married motorcycle builder and "Monster Garage" host, Jesse James. On April 28, 2010, Sandra Bullock announced that she had proceeded with plans to adopt a son born in January 2010 in New Orleans.

However, given Sandra and Jesse's separation and then divorce, Sandra Bullock continued the adoption of her son Louis Bardo Bullock, as a single parent.
