FKA Twigs' recent interview for Paper magazine had the "Pendulum" singer talking about how to be confident. Robert Pattinson's girlfriend also admitted that red carpet walks have always been awkward for her.

When FKA Twigs was asked in an interview about things that she wants to get better at, the 27-year-old songstress said she needs to be more poised during red carpet events.

"I need to get better at being in front of the camera, not feeling awkward if I go on the red carpet," the English singer said.

"It's fine like this, if you're talking to me [as a solo interviewer], I don't feel awkward. But if it's loads of people, like, 'Twigs! Twigs!'... I need to get better at that."

With her seeming lack of confidence from time to time, FKA Twigs narrated how she easily got overwhelmed during the start of her musical career.

"Obviously, there's that moment where your first video goes viral, and before you know it, 500,000 people have watched you," she said.

"You freak out about it [and] you go and tell your best friend. Once you get over the initial shock that the world could potentially be watching, it's fine."

Prior to FKA Twigs' interview for Paper magazine, the eccentric musician scoffed at Internet trolls who have been bullying her ever since she became Robert Pattinson's girlfriend.

According to a report from Gigwise, the singer-songwriter talked to Zane Lowe on BBC Radio One about standing up against haters.

"I didn't want them to see me being bullied and not stand up for myself," FKA Twigs said.

"Ultimately I'm 10 times stronger than somebody hiding behind a weird name on Twitter."

"I wanted to show that I can stand up for myself so then hopefully another person will see that and want to stand up for themselves," she added.

Even though shegained a lot of haters for being Robert Pattinson's girlfriend, FKA Twigs said everything is worth it.

According to USA Today she and her 29-year-old movie star beau remain positive throughout everything.

"The positivity that I get from (my relationship) makes the more challenging aspects...very worth it," she said."
