Microsoft Corporation In 'Accelerating India' Partners With Snapdeal, JustDial and PayTm

Microsoft Corporation recently held its biggest ever customer conference in India and announced it pairs with Snapdeal, JustDial and PayTm to further drive innovation in the fast-paced commerce industry. The three India-based companies will use mobile and cloud technologies from Microsoft, like machine learning, Skype, Cortana and Bing for better customer experience, reported Microsoft News.

In his keynote address at Microsoft Corporation's "Future Unleashed: Accelerating India," CEO Satya Nadella announced on Thursday the company will fund hundreds of new generation businesses in the "smart cities" space in India.  Born in Hyderabad, the chief exec was overwhelmed by the country's e-commerce startup culture.

Special cloud initiative will be offered to start-ups aligned to smart cities while Microsoft flagship devices will be made available. Lumia 950 and 950 XL will be available in December while flagship computing device Surface Pro 4, priced at Rs 75k, will be in January, according to DNA India.

The first for a multinational corporation, Microsoft Corporation will use the new cloud start-up initiative to empower smart cities with a one-year cloud offering in India. Microsoft and the firms will work together to help others develop solutions apart from education, farming and healthcare.

"At Microsoft, we strive to empower every Indian citizen and every business and government organization to achieve more. With our cloud and with Surface Pro 4 offerings, our customers here have the digital technology they need to seize incredible new growth and opportunity on a global scale." Said Nadella.

With Microsoft, JustDial will explore cloud-based analytics and Bing to further enhance customer experience.

SnapDeal will work with cloud platforms to come up with digital automotive dealership expected to change the way customers make automotive buying decisions. SnapDeal customers are provided with engagement platforms with Skype, Cortana and Bing.

Meanwhile, PayTm will work in three core areas, as the two firms will integrate Paytm app and Paytm Wallet into Cortana to enable customers to easily pay bills and carry out mobile transactions. PayTm will use Office 365 for account management and inventory. It will support and facilitate Microsoft service sales through their merchant network.
