Miranda Lambert Furious At Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani For Stealing Her Spotlight At The CMA Awards?
Miranda Lambert is allegedly furious at Blake Shelton, with whom she just got a divorce, and Gwen Stefani for stealing her thunder at the CMA Awards, where she won the best female vocalist of the year.
"Miranda Lambert is livid!" said Celebrity Dirty Laundry. "Confirmation that ex-husband Blake Shelton is dating Gwen Stefani just about ruined the 'Bathroom Sink' singer's big night at the Country Music Association awards
"But Miranda Lambert should take comfort in the fact that Blake Shelton didn't win any CMA awards this year," it added. "Miranda took home one CMA, and was nominated for four. The other three include Entertainer of the Year, Music Video of the Year for "Little Red Wagon," and Musical Event of the Year featuring Little Big Town for "Smokin' and Drinkin.'"
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani went public with their romance during the CMAs, although their relationship didn't surprise Miranda Lambert one bit despite the confirmation coming just a few months after the country singers' divorce.
"She was not surprised to hear of the romance between Blake and Gwen. They were always pretty flirty. Miranda and Blake were on the rocks on and off and knew that this could always be a possibility," an insider told E! News.
The source continued, "Miranda is at a point in her life where she is really focusing on herself and her music. This is a new chapter for her to create new relationships and really move on. Miranda has been going through many personal changes over the past few months, but it's all for the better."
In fact, Miranda Lambert is coping with the divorce from Blake Shelton by listening to sad love songs.
"The 31-year-old has been jamming out to Eric Church's new album Mr. Misunderstood, and she revealed her special connection to the sad breakup track, 'Record Year,' on Instagram Nov. 8," noted Hollywood Life.
In the Instagram post she wrote, "'I'm countin on a needle to save me'... EC #songwriter #recordyear."
