After a long wait, popular rapper Frank Ocean's new album "Boys Don't Cry" is supposed to release in 50 days, which would mean an unveiling around the end of the year. The album is highly anticipated by Frank Ocean fans are wondering if "Boys Don't Cry" will finally see it come to fruition or if it will see another year go by.

Pedro Winter, the record owner of Ed Banger, seems to be disconnected from the current status of the album. Though, in a recent interview with Les in Rocks, Winter accidently gave away the details that Sebastian is working together with Ocean on the release.

"Sebastian has just finished producing a few tracks for Frank Ocean - a truly exciting partnership - and he will finally be able to rest on his second album," said Winter. "Sebastian met Frank Ocean few times, that's all we know. For further infos please contact Frank's management," Winter further backtracked his statement and said in an interview with Fader, reported iSchoolGuide

Frank Ocean new album status announcement may be a publicity strategy

Channel Orange singer, has been away from the public eye since his last anticipated date of release of his album passed in September.

According to fellow rapper, Kanye West, the announcement about the album, "Boys Dont Cry" could be a publicity tactic for gaining attention of Ocean's die - hard fans.  The 28 years old rapper has been chiding away from a formal announcement of "Boys Don't Cry."    

Ocean's management team is mute about any insinuations of a formal date for the album.

Music Times reported, Winter might have been forced to back down because of Ocean.

"Maybe he is being pressured by Ocean's team to keep the album under wraps as best they can. It is also possible that the two didn't complete any new music," the magazine said, according to Franchise Herald .
