Does Jennifer Aniston find the story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's new movie a little too close to what transpired between her and her ex-husband?

And does the fact that Angelina Jolie wrote the screenplay and directed the movie hurt Jennifer Aniston even more?

"Jen feels like Angelina's script took dead aim at her. It's sparked a war between Jen and Brad," a source reportedly told Life & Style, as by Gossip Cop. "He must have betrayed intimate details of their marriage."

Angelina previously dished out that the story of "By The Sea" is not really about her and Brad Pitt.

"Brad and I have problems like any other couple," Angelina Jolie said. "We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad, but the problems in the movie aren't our specific problems."

If it's not about her and Brad, could it be about the former Mrs. Pitt, Jennifer Aniston?

According to Gossip Cop, a rep for Jennifer Aniston reportedly denied the rumors that "By The Sea" is about her and Pitt.

Angelina Jolie previously dished out that "By The Sea" brought her and Brad Pitt closer despite having a few problems on the set.

"There were a few days when we thought [a working honeymoon] wasn't the best idea," Angelina previously told The Telegraph. "There were days during filming last year when we were really worried and it was hard."

Angelina Jolie also opened up about how working together in "By The Sea" was a lot different from her first movie together with Brad Pitt, "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," which was released in 2005.

"When we first worked together it was very different because we didn't really know each other and we were young and, it was really a fun film, so we thought, maybe By the Sea was going to be that kind of fun, but realised very quickly that it wasn't," the actress said.

"Then we joked that this is what happens after 10 years of marriage."
