‘Narcos’ Season 2 Rumored To Be Released In August 2016

"Narcos," the famous American crime drama TV series aired on Netflix is rumored to have its second season released on television in August 2016. Speculations are rife about the plot which may feature the end of DEA's hunt for "king of cocaine" Pablo Escobar.

"Narcos" Season 2 Might Feature The End Of Pablo Escobar

The last episode of "Narcos" season 1 showed the escape of Pablo into the forest and the DEA agent Steve swearing to catch Pablo and stand over his dead body.

Based on the real-life events, season 2 has much more drama and story in folds. Pablo's getaway results in a search team called "Search Block" to be formed which includes US navy SEALS, ISA and the Delta Force. Eventually, the "Search Block," in collaboration with Pablo's arch-rival Cali Cartel will capture and bring down the drug lord Pablo, reported KpopStarz. Pablo may get killed leading to the wrapping up of the series.

"Narcos," the real-life based crime and drama TV series was created by the trio Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro and directed by Brazilian director Jose Padilha. The series is based on the true story of spreading of cocaine drugs alliance around the world and the experts attempt to tackle it.

"Narcos" season 2 will have Wagner Moura playing the role of drug kingpin, Pablo Escobar, Boyd Holbrook playing DEA agent Steve Murphy, Pedro Pascal as Javier Pena, and Joanna Christie portraying Connie Murphy.

The series director Padilha said "You got two teams running together through the narrative: One is the formation of the Medellín cartel, the story of small time criminals ... who stumbled by luck, by chance, upon a product that you can call the perfect product, but how cocaine hit America and how it brought violence to America can only be narrated from the American perspective," according to iSCHOOLGUIDE.
