October Birthdays: Kdrama Stars To Celebrate This Month
Some favorite kdrama stars will celebrate their birthdays this month and you can join in the celebration by re-watching their best dramas or learning more about their upcoming projects.
Oct. 3 is Yoon Eun Hye's 29th birthday. The actress who started as a member of the girl group Baby V.O.X. has been in so many great dramas that there are lots of options. She played an ordinary girl who becomes a princess in "Princess Hours," a girl pretending to be a boy in "Coffee Prince," a female chaebol in "My Fair Lady," Lee Min Ho's ex in "Personal Taste," and Park Yoo Chun's lost love in "Missing You." Soon she will star in "Future Choice" as Na Mi Rae.
Oct. 5 will be Song Seung Hoon's 37th birthday and he's just as desirable a leading man as he was when he appeared in the 2000 drama "Autumn in My Heart." His last drama role was the gangster-in-love Han Tae Sang in "When A Man." He took martial arts lessons for his upcoming film "The Messenger" and has also been cast in the film "Human Addiction" as an officer in love with another man's wife.
On Oct. 6 Yoo Ah In will turn 27. His breakout role was playing the warrior Moon Jae Shin in "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" but he also recently appeared as King Sukjong in the drama "Jang Ok Jung" with Kim Tae Hee playing his consort. He will play the leading role in the upcoming film "Tough As Iron."
Miss A member Bae Suzy will turn 19 on Oct. 10. Known for her roles in "Big" and "Dream High," she became an even bigger star this year after playing Dam Yeo Wool in the drama hit "Gu Family Book."
Bae Doona will turn 34 on Oct. 11. The actress, who has performed in a range of dramas and films, attracted Hollywood's attention last year for her role as Sonmi 451 in "Cloud Atlas. Next year she will be seen in the films "Jupiter Ascending" and "Dohee-ya."
Seo In Guk is having a great year and turns 26 on Oct 23. He plays Kang Woo, the secretive security guard in "The Master's Sun" and swimmer competing with Lee Jong Suk in the film "No Breathing." The Superstar K winner also contributed a song to "The Master's Sun" soundtrack.
Lee Chung Ah turns 29 on Oct. 28. Earlier this year she had a cameo appearance as a dating agency client on "Dating Agency Cyrano." Now she plays Oh Da Jung in the weekend series "Wonderful Mama."
Jun Ji Hyun, also known as Gianna Jun, turns 32 on Oct. 30. The star of "My Sassy Girl" will play Kim Soo Hyun's love interest in the alien-comes-to-earth drama "Man From The Stars."
