Comedian and actress Kim Seul Gi will star in an SNS remake of the webtoon series "Infinite Power," which was originally published on Naver.

And that seems entirely appropriate since the last time she was in a drama, she played the frazzled webtoon editor in "Flower Boys next Door." With the dark circles under her eyes and her crazed dedication to work, she stole every scene she was in. And despite her disheveled looks, women viewers who work late were pleased to learn that she eventually got the guy.

In "Infinite Power," Kim, who is a regular on tvN's :SNL Korea," will play Kim Solo, a girl who works in a nail salon.

2AM's Im Seulong plays her love interest. He's Jang San Jae, a college senior whose goal is to get a job at a big company. Although they share different goals in life, the two characters live in the same boarding house. Despite differing interests, they become friends and fall in love.

In real life they also have different interests. Both actors in "Infinite Power' have already appeared in drama productions but are focused on other areas in their career.

Im Seulong is busy with the band 2 AM and the very funny Kim Seul Gi does theater, musicals, radio and variety shows.

Im Seulong, who also has to rehearse for 2AM's performances between filming, has already acquired a few acting credits. He played some funny scenes as Kim Tae Hoon, Lee Min Ho's office assistant in "Personal Taste. " He also played Crown Prince Lee Ho in "The Fugitive of Joseon" and appeared in the films "Acoustic" and "26 Years."

When he was cast in "The Fugitive of Joseon," there was some talk that he got the role because of his idol credentials. But Seulong denied it.

"After reading the drama synopsis, I really wanted to be part of it and so I auditioned for it," he said. "I thought it was a role I could play well.

The director agreed. And as Im Seulong is actively seeking new roles, he is obviously serious about expanding his acting resume.

The drama began filming on Sept. 25 in Seoul and will be released in November. Apollo Pictures, which produced the SBS drama "Signs" and Korea's first SNS drama "Love in Memory," is producing "Infinite Power."

SNS dramas are a relatively new media format in which dramas are released online and shown in short installments. Such dramas often provide a way for actors to show off their skills or for actors who have not worked in a while to make a comeback.
