Theo James Chooses Career Over Wedding To Girlfriend Ruth Kearney?
Theo James and girlfriend Ruth Kearney were previously rumored to have already been engaged, but there's no wedding bells yet on the horizon, and there won't be for some time, as the "Divergent" actor is swamped with commitments.
According to Master Herald, the wedding plans have been delayed not because of "Divergent" co-star Shailene Woodley, whom he was rumored to be romancing on the set, but because of Theo James' surging career.
Aside from "The Divergent Series: Allegiant," Theo James will also be seen in "Underworld 5" with Kate Beckinsale, "The Benefactor" with Richard Gere and Dakota Fanning, "London Fields," and the "Divergent Series: Ascendant."
"Sources close to the couple say that Ruth Kearney, who is also a British actress, surely understands the decision of her boyfriend to defer their wedding plans as he focuses on his acting career," it claimed.
Theo James and girlfriend Ruth Kearney are rumored to be planning their wedding, even as the romance rumors between the "Underworld 5" actor and his "Divergent" co-star, Shailene Woodley, continue.
The new rumors claim that the "Allegiant" actor is already engaged to Ruth Kearney and they have set the wedding date in 2017.
"Theo James and girlfriend Ruth Kearney are allegedly planning to tie the knot once the British actor wraps up his commitment for the Divergent series of movies," the article said.
Although Theo James' star exploded with "Divergent," the public doesn't really know much about girlfriend Ruth Kearney who found herself stuck with TV B-movies such as "Jet Stream," "Gracie!" and "Booky's Crush."
But The Irish Independent claimed that that's about to change since she joined the TV series "Flaked."
"Ruth plays the part of a beautiful waitress called London who catches the eye of two men - Chip (Arnett) and Dennis (David Sullivan)," it said. "The series is set to be released across all Netflix territories next year, which is sure to increase Ruth's international profile."
To date, Theo James and girlfriend Ruth Kearney have yet to respond to the wedding rumors.
