Vampire Drama Rules KDramaStars Poll

Another day in the KDramaStars end-of-the-year poll and we have some minor upsets. When it comes to the drama category, vampires still rule. The drama "The Scholar Who Walks The Night" is number one and it starred two actors, Lee Jun Ki and Lee Soo Hyuk as sexy vampires. The drama ruled with 38.47 percent of the vote.

But the number one spot is not secure. In second place was "Producer," starring Kim Soo Hyun, Gong Hyo Jin, IU and Cha Tae Hyun, coming at at 31.16 percent of the vote. In "Producer" Kim Soo Hyun played a rookie variety show producer who develops a crush on his senior producer, played by Gong Hyo Jin.

"She Was Pretty" was in third place but with only 8.51 percent of the vote. The comedy starred Park Seo Joon, Hwang Jung Eum and Choi Si Won.

"Kill Me, Heal Me," also starring Hwang Jung Eum and co-star Ji Sung, landed in fourth place with 6.48 percent of the vote, followed by "Oh My Venus," starring Shin Min Ah and So Ji Sub. Does any other drama stand a chance if "The Scholar Who Walks The Night" and "Producer" have close to 70 percent of the vote? Anything is possible.

Kim Soo Hyun again held first place in the Best Actor Category with 46.21 percent of the vote, but Lee Jun Ki has moved up from fifth place to second place with 21.3 percent. Ji Sung is in third place, followed by So Ji Sub and Choi Si Won, who had his breakout role in "She Was Pretty." Again Kim Soo Hyun and Lee Jun Ki combined have almost 70 percent of the vote. Can anyone beat them?

Hwang Jung Eum again rules as best actress for her roles in two hits, playing a psychiatrist in "Kill Me, Heal Me" and a frizzy-haired wanna-be writer in "She Was Pretty." She has 35.44 percent of the vote. But after that things are divided more equitably. Park Bo Young has 16.48 percent of the vote for her role as a shy chef possessed by a spirit in "Oh My Ghostess." Gong Hyo Jin has 12.18 percent for her role as the touch talking producer in "Producer." Kim Tae Hee has 6.12 percent for her role in "Yong Pal" and Ha Ji Won is close behind with 5.54 percent for her role in "The Time I Didn't Love You, 7,000 Days."

Vampires also rule the best couple category with Lee Jun Ki and Kim So Eun winning Best Couple for "The Scholar Who Walks The Night." They rated 31.74 percent of the vote. Next up was the "She Was Pretty" couple Park Seo Joon and Hwang Jung Eum with 18.12 percent of the vote. So Ji Sub and his "Oh My Venus" co-star Shin Min Ah almost tie with them at 17.68 percent. Hwang Jung Eum and her "She Was Pretty" second lead Choi Si Won are in fourth place at 10.98 percent, while Park Yoo Chun and Shin Se Kyung are in fifth place for "Girl Who Sees Smells."
