The director of "The King's Warden", Jang Hang Jun, and singer-actor Park Jihoon have stirred up controversy online with a recent video clip. The controversy started after the director made several remarks about Park Jihoon's weight during a surprise visit on an episode of "WANNA ONE GO: Back to Base".

According to Koreaboo, during the visit Jang Hang Jun remarked, "You look like you've gained a bit of weight," to which Park Jihoon responded, "I was on holiday for a while."
The director had previously shared his first impression of Park, expressing concern about seeing the actor in a heavier state compared to his previous role.
Online communities quickly reacted to the remarks, with many netizens criticizing the director for bringing up a sensitive subject multiple times. On the forum Theqoo, users expressed their disapproval.

One user said, "People might understand if you mention it once during filming, but it's unnecessary to continuously mention it every time." Another noted, "He needs to know when to stop."
Someone also share a comment, "It doesn't look good if you keep bringing it up like that." One netizen chimed in, "I hate people who think it's ok to be disrespectful because you are close. Who cares if he gains weight? The film is complete."
Others pointed out the timing and wording as particularly inappropriate, another user chimed in, "We can understand if you mention it during the film promotions, but why would you continue to bring it up even after the movie has premiered and has done well?"
Another one saying, "I hate the wording of saying gaining weight doesn't look good. It's already rude to say it in private, but to say it on a broadcast more than once is so disrespectful." One commenter chimed in, "This is a bit...and it doesn't look like he's saying it because of his acting role."
These comments reflect a growing sensitivity among audiences regarding body image discussions in public and media settings.
