Nina Dobrev was reportedly disappointed about the circulating news that she is just using Austin Stowell as a rebound from her split with Ian Somerhalder. Amid the rumors, former "The Vampire Diaries" actress maintains a strong relationship with her boyfriend.

According to a report from Realty Today, the 27-year-old Bulgarian-Canadian actress is not happy with the news that she is using the "Whiplash" actor to move on from her split with "The Anomaly" star.

"The "The Vampire Diaries" actress was disappointed with the news that she's just using Austin as her rebound after calling it quits with Ian. It was said that she's only using Austin to move on from her former love, who's now happily married to Nikki Reed," the report said.

Reports have it that the actress just wanted to make Ian Somerhalder jealous and let him know that she has already forgotten about the heartbreak he caused her.

But Nina Dobrev is shunning the issue as she maintains a happy relationship with the Austin Stowell, who she has been dating for six months now.

Last month, Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell were seen leaving a gym while wearing their workout outfits as they strolled down the streets of Vancouver, The Daily Mail said in a report.

The two also looked all loved-up during a romantic getaway in the South of France where the actress was seen straddling on the "Bridge of Spies" star.

Before Nina Dobrev started dating Austin Stowell in June, she was in a relationship with Ian Somerhalder until 2013.

The two called off their romance after it was alleged that Nina Dobrev rejected Ian Somerhalder's proposal for marriage as she is not keen on starting a family just yet.

A year after their breakup, Ian Somerhalder began dating "Twilight" star Nikki Reed and the actor married her April this year.
