The Online Film Critics Society has released its list of winners for this year's "Best Of" awards in different categories for film. The society has named "Mad Max: Fury Road" as 2015's Best Picture along with three other awards that the group voted to give the film.

Released Sunday evening, the Online Film Critics Society's announcement of winners has also honored "Fury Road's" George Miller as Best Director. The film also received the Online Film Critic Society's recognition for Best Editing and Best Cinematography, according to a report by Variety.

Winners for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress awards both came from performances from Todd Haynes 1950s lesbian romance "Carol," where Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara received the honors, respectively. "Carol" was also recognized as the year's best adapted screenplay. Furthermore, the real-life inspired "Spotlight" received the award for best original screenplay.

Best actor honors were awarded to Michael Fassbender for his role in the autobiography "Steve Jobs," and Oscar Isaac was honored best supporting actor for his "Ex Machina" performance.

As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, the Online Film Critics Society is comprised of over 250 film critics from the web that comes from 22 different countries across the globe. Because of which, the society also gave recognition to movies that have not yet been released in the United States. So that, foreign movies "Aferim!," "Cemetery of Splendor," "The Club, Dheepan," "The Lobster," "Mountains May Depart," "Mia Madre," "Rams," "Right Now, Wrong Then," and "The Sunset Song" were the awardees for Best Non-US films.
