Will Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey Rekindle Friendship After Ex 'Grey's Anatomy' Star Gets Second Chance With Wife?

Patrick Dempsey is said to have reuniting with his wife after the divorce. Does that mean his alleged fractured relationship with "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo will be mended as well?

According to Radar Online, Jillian Fink is willing to take back Patrick Dempsey after filing of divorce but only if he meets several demands.

First is that the former "Grey's Anatomy" star would stop cheating on her, and second is for him to dial down his obsession with racing.

"He's desperately trying to strike a compromise, but Jill is putting her foot down and at this point she says the only way she'll stick around is if he puts her first," the alleged source claimed. "She's scarred by the damage that was caused when he went away to racing conventions and competitions for weeks and sometimes even months on end."

Apparently, Patrick Dempsey is open to meeting wife Jillian Fink's demands to stay off the divorce.

"He's willing to do what it takes, because living without Jillian has been hell and he's terrified of losing her again," the article added.

It was earlier rumored that Ellen Pompeo frowned upon the alleged affair that Patrick Dempsey had with the "Grey's Anatomy" staffer, which was one of the reasons for his divorce from Jillian Fink, and which was why he was killed off the hit series.

"[Ellen] found out and was angry because she's close friends with Jillian, so of course, she told her," the rumor claimed. "Patrick found out that Ellen told his wife about the relationship and totally lost it. They had a huge blowup on the set in front of everyone. There was tension in Patrick and Ellen's relationship for years before the final blowup. [She] was sick of his behavior on and off set."

But Patrick Dempsey told Entertainment Weekly that there's no feud with Ellen Pompeo and the actress didn't factor into his exit from "Grey's Anatomy." Describing their relationship, he said, "It's magic. It's beautiful. We're like a married couple. It's been 10 years, and it was magic from the beginning."
