Chelsea Handler, the television host and comedian, recently denied all the rumors concerning comedian Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show," according to Latin Post.

Chelsea recently posted a tweet on her official Twitter page that she now has a job and a contract and silenced all the rumors that she will be replacing Jimmy Fallon on NBC's The Tonight Show as the show host.

Mstarz reported that earlier there were speculations that Chelsea was desperately trying to convince NBC to consider her for the late-night talk show's host in place of Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy is reportedly facing severe drinking problems and NBC was looking out for a replacement.

International Business Times reported that Jimmy's lifestyle was also at question since he was seen drinking too much at the parties and was mostly observed to be out of control. He also had several injuries this year, out of which three were seen in just four months' time span.

"Chelsea's convinced it's only a matter of time before the network starts preparing for a backup plan should Jimmy fail to rein in his boozing," said a close source of NBC, reported The Inquisitr.

Speculations also reveal that before Jimmy was signed up for The Tonight Show, Jay Leno, ex-host of the show considered Chelsea as the top contender for his replacement

Classicalite reported that Handler earlier hosted "Chelsea Lately," a late night talk show for E! Network during 2007 to 2014. Chelsea will now be seen in the new Netflix show, Chelsea Does, which is a documentary series on racism, drug issues and Chelsea's take on Silicon Valley and marriage and will be aired in four parts.

"It's not going to look like a late-night talk show," said Handler, during an appearance on Jason & Jenny on SiriusXM's Radio Andy, reported Entertainment Weekly. Chelsea also made clear that she was not at all interested in watching late night talk shows.

Chelsea also revealed that she and her new team from Netflix will try to make her new show as lively as possible to keep the audience glued to the television sets.

Chelsea Does will begin streaming on Netflix from January 23 and will have a world premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival on January 22, 2016.
