Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai described Donald Trump's proposition to ban Muslims from entering the United States as "tragic" and "full of hatred."

The 18-year-old Iranian Nobel Peace Prize winner added to the list of highly respected people who stood against Republican front-runner Donald Trump on his radical proposition to entirely ban Muslims from entering the US, according to a report by the BBC News.

Malala Yousafzai argues that Donald Trump's proposal is "tragic" and could only lead to the spawning of more terrorists.

Back in 2012, Malala Yousafzai, who is an advocate of human rights and education in Pakistan, survived three gun shots by the Taliban. Since then, she became an international activist advocating women and children's' rights.

Yousafzai condemed Donald Trump's views when she attended a ceremonial event at Birmingham. The ceremony marked one year since Taliban attacked a school in Pakistan which left over 150, mostly school children, dead, according to the AFP news agency.

When asked about Donald Trump's notion against Muslims, Malala Yousafzai said the mogul's ideology is just "full of hatred."

"Well, that's really tragic that you hear these comments which are full of hatred, full of this ideology of being discriminative towards others," she told the news service.

The teenager also added that in order to end terrorism the world should "bring quality education so we defeat the mindset of terrorism mentality and of hatred."

In a separate interview, Malala urged politicians and the media to exercise more caution.

"I have to say that whether it's Western media or Eastern media, if they only blame 1.6 billion Muslims for terrorist attacks then terrorism can't be defeated," she told a BBC correspondent in the event.

"That just leads to creating more anger in people and leads to producing more terrorists."

Meanwhile, according to a report by People Magazine, Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders also took a stand against Trump's proposal against the Islamic people.

"It is time to say enough is enough," Sanders said in a mosque in downtown Washington D.C. "It is time to end this religious bigotry, it is time to build a nation in which we all stand together... condemn the anti-Muslim rhetoric that we are hearing."

"We're not going back. We have suffered too much," the Vermont senator said. "There's been too much division. We are going forward ... We will not allow people to divide us up, because you're Jewish or you're Muslim or Christian or Catholic. We're not going to allow that to happen."
