Monday/Tuesday Ratings Down
Monday/Tuesday dramas are at an all time low with ratings and fighting one another.
According to a study of Nielsen Korea on October 22nd, on October 21st, "The Mystery Housemaid" had 9.7% in ratings, MBC "Goddess of Fire" had 9.3% and KBS 2TV "Marry Him If You Dare" had 8.5% in national ratings.
"The Mystery Housemaid" kept the throne of number one even with lower ratings and "Goddess of Fire" which will end soon was right behind it. "Good Doctor"'s successor "Marry Him If You Dare" had a close difference with both dramas with 8.5%.
Monday/Tuesday dramas are altogether at an all time low. After "Good Doctor" all three broadcasting stations are sustaining similar ratings and having a meaningless ratings war. "The Mystery Housemaid" is at first but only a 0.4% difference separates it with "Goddess of Fire" and third is "Marry Him If You Dare" with 1.2% difference.
It's hard to find double digit ratings. Daily dramas like "Ugly Alert," "Princess Aurora," and "Ruby Ring" are over 10% in ratings and saving face.
Whether this small vs. smaller race of Monday/Tuesday drama will change is of interest to watch for.
