Monday/Tuesday dramas are bringing a wave of women. The female protagonists are leading the three terrestrial channels' broadcasting because the drama itself was centered on women.

MBC "Empress Qi" airing on October 28th for the first time as well as SBS "The Mystery Housemaid" and KBS 2TV "Marry Him If You Dare" all have strong female presences.

"Empress Qi" features Ha Ji Won as the female protagonist in a drama that features a Koreo dynasty woman's love and battles as she rules over a kingdom. Other male roles such as Ju Jin Mo in Wang Yu and Ji Chang Wook as Ta Whan are also present, but the story itself is centered around Qi Seung Nyang and therefore, it's hard to say that the male roles will sustain their presence. Moreover, Ha Ji Won who plays the role of Qi Seung Nyang has such solid acting skills and the character is so strong so the future of "Empress Qi" will depend on Qi Seung Nyang as a key element.

"The Mystery Housemaid" is in a similar situation. Choi Ji Woo playing the role of housemaid Park Bok Nyuh has a strong presence and the role of Eun Sang Chul played by Lee Sung Jae is minimal at best. Just like the title, the focus is on Park Bok Nyuh but aside from the plot in the beginning about Eun Sang Chul's affair, the role doesn't have enough to add tension or fun to the drama. The loveline with Park Bok Nyuh is not even present so this roel is just like any other. Rather, the roles of Eun Sang Chul's four kids, Han Gyul, Doo Gyul, Seh Gyul and Hye Gyul and their interactions with Park Bok Nyuh take up most of the story in the drama.

"Marry Him If You Dare" is the same. Just the fact that the female protagonist's name Mirae (played by Yoon Eun Hae)'s name is in the title is the name. The story of a time travel drama where a future me wants to advise me of a better future and the work and love with Kim Shin (played by Lee Dong Gun), Park Se Ju (played by Jung Yong Ha) are also of interest. The episodes with the two men are interesting but it's all really about Mirae's life. In the middle of all that is the question of how much Park Se Ju and Kim Shin's charisma can be established but at the mark of the 6th episode, there hasn't been much to show yet.

Wednesday/Thursday dramas are split in influence and presence between SBS "The Inheritors" Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin and Park Shin Hae, and KBS 2TV "Secret" with Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum as well as MBC "Medical Top Team" Kwon Sang Woo, Jung Ryuh Won, Joo Ji Hoon. However, the Monday/Tuesday dramas are dominated by women.
