"Zombie Detective" Starring Choi Jin Hyuk Confirms Premiere on September 21
KBS2's upcoming "Zombie Detective" will premiere on September 21!
"Zombie Detective" is about a zombie Kim Moo Young in his second year of resurrection who becomes a detective trying to find his way back to the past while trying to live with humans.
Kim Moo Young, played by Choi Jin Hyuk, is a zombie who awakened with a mysterious past. No matter how he is being stabbed and beaten he resurrects and accepts his destiny living life with eternity. He begins to practice day and night the way to live and coexist with the human world.
While Park Joo Hyun who played as Gong Sun Ji, a writer of an investigative journalism program. She brings fun and energy to the show with her training techniques meeting Kim Moo Young. It brings anticipation to the viewers as how their chemistry unfolds throughout the drama.
In addition Kwon Hwa Woon, will play as Cha Do Hyun and Tae Hang Ho and Lee Joong Ok will join the cast in character as Lee Sung Rok and Wang Wei. Hwang Bo Ra in character as Gong Sun Young and Ahn Se Ha in character as Lee Tae Kyun.
The drama series was supposed to premiere last August 31 but it was postponed due to the resurgence of COVID-19. KBS network cancelled its filming temporarily in the last week of August to focus on the safety of its production and actors on the set.
KBS2 "Zombie Detective" has 12 episodes which airs every Monday and Tuesday timeslot. This will be Choi Jin Hyuk and Park Joo Hyun's new on screen pairing on the small screen.
Choi Jin Hyuk recently finished his role in action drama "Rugal" while Park Joo Hyun appeared in Netflix series "Extracurricular".
