When it comes to its acting, he added that he continues to improve and has felt more confident in expressing himself because of Sweet Home. When asked about his character Hyun Su, he said the Hyun Su has experienced a lot at a young age. There was a lot of hurt from his past and even thought of ending his own life.

To be able to get into character, he has been immersing himself as Hyun Su that even before he orders something in a restaurant, he thought of what Hyun Su will order. Additionally, Hyun Su is an introverted loner. And people around him find it hard to see his real feelings and emotions. He said that the character of Hyun Su is quite hard to portray as he has been struggling with so many emotions.
