Lee Yoo Bi had a slight accident and sustained an injury while filming for the new SBS drama "Joseon Exorcist".

How Lee Yoo Bi Sustained Her Injury

According to a report released on February 26, a source from the drama shared that during the filming of the drama on February 25, actress Lee Yoo Bi accidentally hit her knee on the part of the set. She was immediately taken to have her knee checked. After a thorough medical examination, Lee Yoo Bi was diagnosed with a ligament injury.

The drama's production team expressed that they are currently in discussion with her management agency regarding her schedule so that the actress can prioritize her health and focus on her recuperation.

Way back in December 2020, another cast member in the drama also experiences an accident. Jang Dong Yoon experienced a fall on horseback while filming "Joseon Exorcist." It's a good thing that he did not get any serious injuries after his accident.

A Rundown for the Upcoming Historical Drama "Joseon Exorcist"

"Joseon Exorcist" is a fantasy historical drama that follows the battle of the royal family to protect its kingdom from evil spirits who try to take over the Joseon Dynasty soon after it was established. The drama stars talented actors Kam Woo Sung, Park Sung Hoon, Jang Dong Yoon, Kim Dong Jun, Geum Sae Rok, and more.

The drama starts with the character of Prince Lee Bang Won (Kam Woo Sung), who encountered the evil spirit which wanted to dominate human beings and he was able to seal away the evil spirit. Following this, he ascended to the throne and has taken the title of King Taejong. He is a powerful King with a strong and brave image. He helped his father build the Joseon dynasty and was very proud of it. However, he carries the guilt from killing so many people during the founding of Joseon.

The evil spirit which King Taejong sealed away in the past re-appears in the land of Joseon. King Taejong must fight the evil spirit once again to protect his kingdom. The King was blessed with two sons; they are Crown Prince Yangnyeong (Park Sung Hoon) and Prince Chungnyeong (Jang Dong Yoon).

The two princes' have different personalities; Prince Chungnyeong is a bookworm who is only interested in learning academics. In order to help protect his kingdom, he was forced to join the battle against the evil spirit.

The other son Prince Yangnyeong (Park Sung Hoon), is a boy with overflowing confidence. He wants his father to notice him and be recognized, but somehow his efforts seem to be not good enough. Though he may think that his father doesn't notice him, the King had always desired Prince Yangnyeong to become the next ruler of the Kingdom. Because of his Greed, Crown Prince Yangnyeong makes a dangerous agreement with the evil spirit.
