The upcoming historical drama "Joseon Exorcist" dropped new stills, featuring its stars Jang Dong Yoon and Kam Woo Sung!
"Joseon Exorcist" takes place after the Joseon dynasty was established. It follows the fight of the royal family to protect the people from the evil spirits of the undead.
Jang Dong Yoon and Kam Woo Sung's Roles in "Joseon Exorcist"
To star as Prince Chungnyeong is actor Jang Dong Yoon. His character is a studious young man who was compelled to join a war to protect Joseon from the evil spirits.
Kam Woo Sung, on the other hand, will star as King Taejong, a cold-heart king who sets out to control the evil spirits who have seized his kingdom. He secretly hides his guilt of the bloodshed he joined to help his father build the Joseon dynasty empire.

The still cuts feature Jang Dong Yoon, who transforms into his character as Chungnyeong. In one photo, Chungnyeong looks worried as he gazes at something with his deep and resolved eyes. He is trapped in a crisis where people are swallowed by evil spirits, and the survival of his kingdom relies on him.
Being studious, he was able to learn a lot about the real world, but through his experience in taking down evil spirits, he will be reborn as a true leader.
Jang Dong Yoon expressed his thoughts about "Joseon Exorcist" by commenting that it is an interesting drama mixed exorcism with a genre involving creatures. Speak of his character, Jang Dong Yoon shared that Chungnyeong in the drama is a kind of person who pursues what's right.
The drama also shared new stills of Kam Woo Sung transforming into the character of the cold-blooded King Taejong. He gives out a powerful aura, and his eyes are filled with strength and determination. He shows off his powerful side, and even in war, he remains unwavering and level-headed. He is not afraid of anything and is determined to conquer the battle. He fights the evil using his sword and bow and arrow. He is proud of being of help to his father, Yi Seong Gye, build the Joseon Dynasty.
However, he harbors the feeling of guilt for the bloodshed that happened. Due to the evil that seizes the kingdom, King Taejong goes out to fight for his people.
Kam Woo Sung expressed that he decided to star in the drama because he really wanted to portray the character that he is given. In the drama, his character as Taejong is someone who would risk his life to save the kingdom they built.
