‘Start-Up’ Star Suzy to Possibly Play as Female Lead in Forthcoming Indian Film Helmed by Shankar
The rise of the South Korean actors and actresses are becoming more prominent in the international scene. Lots of these actors are starting to build their own names outside their home country. Thanks to K-dramas and Korean films, these talented individuals, such as Suzy Bae, were able to share their crafts and skills to a wider audience.
Suzy is in Talks to Work with Indian Director Shankar Shanmugam
In a recent report, one of the famous actresses in Korean entertainment today, also known as the "Nation's First Love" Suzy, is in talks to be part of an Indian movie.

Indian director Shankar Shanmugam is said to be one of India's famous Tamil-language cinema producers. Previously, Shankar was reportedly to direct a new political thriller film starring one of the highest-paid Telugu actor Ram Charan.
Because of their popularity, the news had been dominating the Indian online community and are all anticipating who will be playing the actor's leading lady. And one of the big names that can possibly perfect for the role is idol-turned-actress Suzy. The 26-year-old actress has been rumored to play the lead female role in the upcoming political thriller film; the title has not been confirmed yet.
The movie was originally to be produced as pan-Indian, but now that there are no confirmation yet about the final cast lineup and want to make it in the international market, rumor has it that it would be produced in pan-Asian, comprising countries including South Korea.
Suzy's Successes in Her Previous Works
Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Suzy was considered for a film directed by Shakar. In 2019, the "Dream High" star was also reported that filmmakers (Indian) picked Suzy to be part of the movie "Indian 2." Not just that, the singer-actress was also being reviewed to play a small role in a movie in Taiwan.
There is no confirmation yet whether Suzy will be part of the film, but since the rumors already circulated on various online sites, fans are patiently waiting for the announcement.
On the other hand, Indian actor Ram Charan has already been confirmed to be joining the forthcoming film.
After she proved her skills in singing and dancing, Suzy has been making lots of projects in her solo career. May it be in movies or series, the actress always makes sure to show her best. More than just a pretty face, it is undeniably that Suzy can successfully make it in the international scene, given that she has been pushing boundaries and crossing borders to show to the world what she really got as an artist.
