AB6IX Donghyun Confirmed to Star in New K-Drama 'I'll Become Your Night'
AB6IX Donghyun has been confirmed to join NU'EST JR and Yoon Ji Sung in a new K-drama titled "I'll Be Your Night"! This acting project will be his first one, marking his acting debut.
On April 13, reports stated that Kim Donghyun had been chosen as one of the cast members in "I'll Be Your Night," and he is said to be playing one of the members of a band. His appearance on the television series has since been confirmed.
AB6IX Donghyun to Appear on New K-Drama "I'll Become Your Night" as a Band Member
On April 14, Donghyun has been announced to officially join the cast of the upcoming TV series "I'll Be Your Night." He previously starred as one of the male lead in a web drama called "Fling at the Convenience Store," which premiered early this year. After gaining acting experience through this web series, the AB6IX member has expanded his acting spectrum by appearing on a terrestrial television show for the first time.

In the new K-drama, "I'll Be Your Night," AB6IX Donghyun will play the role of Gaon, a member of the world-class band called LUNA. Gaon is the youngest member of the group as he is only 17 years old when he joined LUNA after winning a competition two years ago. Also, he has excellent keyboard playing skills.
In addition, as LUNA's youngest member, Gaon is close to most of his bandmates, except for Taein, who he sees as a mature person. Donghyun's character also becomes shy when he's in front of the fans. Through Gaon, AB6IX Donghyun will show off various charms that he has never shown before.
"I'll Be Your Night" is a drama that combines romantic comedy and K-pop music, which is gaining popularity around the world. The upcoming television series is about a famous band and a fake doctor who ends up moving into their dorm to cure a member who is suffering from sleepwalking.
This new K-drama will focus on a series of events between the idol group and the phony doctor. It is expected that NU'EST JR, Yoon Ji Sung, and AB6IX Donghyun will create warm chemistry within the band. "I'll Become Your Night" is scheduled to start production in May and is slated to be broadcast sometime in the second half of this year.
