Jun Ji Hyun’s Agency Clears Divorce Issue + Calls the Allegation ‘Malicious’ and ‘False’
Jun Ji Hyun's agency set the record straight regarding her alleged divorce with her non-celebrity husband, Choi Joon Hyuk.
Amid the bombshell news about her marriage fallout, the Hallyu star's management, Culture Depot, stood by the actress as they addressed the rumors.
Culture Depot Denies Jun Ji Hyun's Divorce Issue
In a statement obtained by a Korean-based publication, the renowned talent agency claps back at the controversy and blasted the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute.
Based on their official statement, Culture Depot denied the allegations and said that these are "malicious rumors" that contain false and distorted facts.
"Currently, false facts are being indiscriminately spread online, and we have found intentional malicious rumors being created and posted that were derived from the Garo Sero Institute broadcast and tabloids," the statement reads.
Moreover, the management also cited that they are planning to "investigate" and "take legal action" on the said matter.
"We therefore plan to investigate the exact truth behind the distorted, false facts, and we will take strong legal action against the spread of false information through erroneous articles and comments."

Jun Ji Hyun and Husband Headed for Divorce?
The 39-year-old actress is in hot waters after rumors sparked that her husband of nine years is headed for splitsville.
Best known for her roles in "My Love from the Star," "Legend of the Blue Sea," and the smash hit drama "My Sassy Girl," the South Korean actress is embroiled in a controversy.
It came after the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute revealed that Jun Ji Hyun and her husband had been separated for almost six months. Still, she chose not to pursue the divorce as this may affect her career.
Moreover, the channel also cited that the divorce might have a huge impact on her assets due to the penalties that she might obtain from advertising contracts and commercial deals.

To recall, the "Happy Together" actress has an estimated net worth of $78 million ( 87 billion won) and is currently the highest-paid South Korean actress, reportedly earning $120,000 per episode.
Aside from being the highest-paid actress, she is also known as one of the CF queens in South Korea and currently the ambassador for the British label Alexander McQueen.
However, this issue would incur the actress to pay a massive fine due to the bad reputation it might have caused to the brands.
Jun Ji Hyun's Supposed Divorce Rooted to Cheating Allegation
The said Youtube channel also pointed out that Jun Ji Hyun's husband's infidelity was the leading cause of their divorce.
With this, the video also implied that the Hallyu star is allegedly considering moving abroad.
Jun Ji Hyun and businessman Choi Joon Hyuk tied the knot in 2012, which took place at Shilla Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Seoul in South Korea.
Her non-celebrity husband came from a wealthy family and is the son of fashion designer Lee Jung-woo and the grandson of renowned hanbok designer Lee Young-hee.
As for the couple, they are blessed with two sons, who are now aged 3 and 5.
