‘Mouse’ Actor Kwon Hwa Woon Transforms Into an Indie Singer in New Drama ‘Check The Event’
MBC's upcoming drama "Check The Event" released new stills of Kwon Hwa Woon, set to play the role of an indie band member and vocalist.
The actor-model received praise and attention after starring in JTBC's psychological dark comedy drama series "SKY Castle." He also appeared in South Korean television series "Switch," "Doctor John," "Zombie Detective," and "Lie After Lie."
He recently starred in the 2021 KBS2's historical drama series "River Where the Moon Rises" with "Who Are You: School 2015" actress Kim So Hyun.

After showing his exemplary acting skills in several hit dramas, Kwon Hwa Woon will showcase again his acting prowess as a vocalist and leader of an indie band in MBC's new romantic comedy drama series "Check The Event."
He will take on the role of Park Do Kyeom, a man who looks like he came out of a magazine. Park Do Kyeom has the right amount of self-esteem and pride that may make or break viewers' impression of him.
The rising star has a strong, masculine look yet refreshing, which catches the attention of the fans and viewers. Kwon Hwa Woon's aura contrasts the calming scenery behind him.

'Check The Event' Synopsis and Further Details
Girl's Day's main vocalist and actress Bang Minah (most commonly known as Minah) joins actor Kwon Hwa Woon in the drama as his ex-girlfriend.
"Check The Event" is about ex-lovers Ha Song Yi Minah) and Park Do Kyeom (Kwon Hwa Woon), who won an exclusive couple's trip to Jeju Island in a raffle they joined when they were still together. They decided to pretend they are still together and in love to join get the prize.

"Check the Event" production team shared that actor Kwon Hwa Woon is a reliable actor who makes sure he always analyzes his character and internalizes it completely on his own, and synchronizes with the character perfectly.
They added, "Kwon Hwa Woon and Minah will show you a highly realistic love story that anybody can relate to, and they will also take you on an amazing vacation trip to Jeju Island you will never forget. Please support and look forward to seeing 'Check the Event'."
Ahn Woo Yeon, Lee Jin Hyuk from UP10TION, Nam Kyu Hee, and veteran stars Kim Young Sun and Kim Hee Chang will also participate in the drama.
