Three acts have been eliminated at the end of Week 13 of “The X Factor USA” and America voted off Carlos Guevara first, followed by Rachel Potter and Sweet Suspense on results show held on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013.

Episode 1 of Week 13, Wednesday, Nov. 13, saw 16-year old student from Lexington, S.C. get voted off and the restaurant server never even had a chance to stay on air after his elimination was announced before the show began.

A separate report by KDramaStars noted that Guevara was not surprised to be let go, noting he has not been popular in the social media as he had hoped to be.

"People weren't as excited about me in the competition on social media," Guevara told Zap2it when interviewed backstage following his elimination.

The Top 12 then performed for America’s vote with songs from the 1980s to prove that they deserve to stay for the win.

As earlier announced by the show’s officials, three acts will be eliminated this week. Two of the “X Factor” hopefuls followed Guevara when sent home.

Of the twelve finalists on Week 13, Carlito Olivero and Tim Olstad were the two acts who failed to impress the judges. Demi Lovato told Tim Olstad that he has the vocals but that “he doesn’t have the X Factor” and therefore he “should go home.”

Simon Cowell’s brutal honesty was put to test once again with Carlito Olivero who described Olivero as a “dancer who can sing.”

What Demi and Simon said meant nothing to America however. Tim and Carlito were not the two acts to join Guevara when eliminated. Results night showed Rachel Potter, Sweet Suspense and Khaya Cohen were the bottom three and two of them were eventually sent home.

For having received the smallest number of votes on performance night, Sweet Suspense was the first to be ousted from the reaility singing competition. The act under Simon Cowell’s “Group,” said in their farewell statement that they are glad to find new friends on the show.

"I think we're so grateful to be here. The fact that you guys put us together gave us a whole new experience that we would have never thought of otherwise. And I'm so glad I have these two amazing girls to stand by,” Millie Thrasher was quoted as saying by Examiner.com.

Then came the “save-me” song number from Khaya Cohen and Rachel Potter. The Examiner.com described Cohen more confident and passionate in her performance than Potter which made it easier for the judges to decide who should stay for another week. Potter was sent home.

“The X Factor USA” now has its Top Final 10 and the remaining hopefuls will fight for the win at the season finale from December 18-19, 2013.
