“Lone Survivor” Star, Mark Wahlberg Slams Tom Cruise for Comparing His Job to a Military Tour in Afghanistan (Photo/Video)

 “Lone Survivor” star, Mark Wahlberg has launched into a foul-mouthed rant against fellow actor, Tom Cruise after the latter compared his acting job to the soldiers fighting in Afghanistan.

The “Pain and Gain” was on his promotional tour at AFI Fest in Los Angeles when a member of the audience inquired the kind of training he had undertaken for his upcoming film, “Lone Survivor.”

In what seemed to be a reaction to Cruise’s earlier comparison during a deposition for a libel case involving him and Life & Style Magazine, Wahlberg was quick to “unload,” according to TMZ.

"For somebody to sit there and say 'my job was as difficult as being in the military.' How f**king dare you, while you sit in a makeup chair for 2 hours," Wahlberg began pointing out the big difference of a soldier in real action and an actor like Tom Cruise and the customary preparations made before filming.

The “Four Brothers” star continued by illustrating stark differences between the two professions.

Wahlberg is now added to the increasing number of haters who slammed Cruise for comparing his filming schedule to a soldier’s military tour of duty.

TMZ reported earlier that Cruise made the Afghanistan reference during a deposition for the libel case he filed against a news magazine.

"Now, your counsel has publicly equated your absence from Suri for these extended periods of time as being analogous to someone fighting in Afghanistan. Are you aware of that?" the defense counsel was quoted as saying during the proceeding.

The actor then replied, “I didn't hear the Afghanistan, but that's what it feels like, and certainly on this last movie, it was brutal. It was brutal."

Wahlberg vehemently disagreed to Cruise’s claim, without direct reference to the “Mission Impossible” star and his view of Afghanistan and acting.

He pointed out, "I don't give a s**t if you get your ass busted. You get to go home at the end of the day. You get to go to your hotel room. You get to order your f**king chicken."
