The upcoming tvN's romantic comedy series "Hometown Cha-cha-cha" starring Shin Min Ah, Kim Seon Ho, and Lee Sang Yi held an online production presentation on the afternoon of August 24.

Shin Min Ah, Kim Seon Ho, and Lee Sang Yi shared their unsaid thoughts about the upcoming drama. They also revealed what it was like to work with each other on a project for the first time.

With the drama's previously released stills, it is undeniable that actors Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho have great on-screen chemistry, despite working on a project together for the first time.

Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho play the roles of handyman Hong Doo Sik and dentist Yoon Hye Jin, who, in some ways, find their way into each other's arms. The two are also known as the "Dimple Couple" or "SikHye Couple," a wordplay with their name which represents a cool and sweet South Korean beverage, just like their budding romance.

According to actress Shin Min Ah, "Hye Jin and Doo Sik don't match each other. They fight a lot but there are strange similarities that will surely shock potential viewers."

Actor Kim Seon Ho added, "I enjoyed every moment with Shin Min Ah. As I work together with her, I always think of interesting ideas that will help our partnership to be better."

In the press production broadcast held on August 24, actress Shin Min Ah shared why she chose "Hometown Cha-cha-cha" as her new drama project.

"The script was good. After reading it, I had the urge to do a romantic comedy. Apart from that, the story was very solid and the stories of people living were very interesting," she reasoned.

She also added, "Yoon Hye Jin has a great personality and I fell in love with her instantaneously."

The actress also shared her burden after earning the nickname "Rom-Com Queen" in the history of the South Korean television industry.

"The nickname "Rom-Com Queen" is quite burdensome. I tried to do different genres to show my abilities as an actress. But right now, I want to try something fun and light after a long time. It's physically challenging but looking at the sea relaxes me a little. I think that part will be shown in the drama," she said with a gentle laugh.

As actress Shin Min Ah comes back to the small screen as a dentist, she prepared herself both mentally and physically by visiting her own personal dentist.

She disclosed, "I went to the dentist before taking on the role of Yoon Hye Jin. I concentrated on the dentist's body language, mood, and expressions. And because Hye Jin's emotions and feelings are important, I took the time to empathize with Hye Jin more."

On the other hand, Kim Seon Ho shared that he did many things as soon as he was offered the role of all-rounder Hong Doo Sik.

He revealed, "I took surfing training before filming to get familiar with it, it was a very nice experience. Also, the teacher came to teach me how to make coffee. I prepared a lot in advance to achieve synchronicity with my character."

Finally, actor Lee Sang Yi also shared his experiences as he prepared for the role of Ji Seong Hyun.

"I watched a lot of variety shows from the producer Kim Tae Ho. I didn't talk much on set but I put a lot of effort into showing my acting skills in the upcoming drama," he shared.

The upcoming drama series "Hometown Cha-cha-cha" is helmed by "Oh My Ghost" director Yoo Je Won and screenwriter Shin Ha Eun.

"Hometown Cha-cha-cha" aims to give comfort and healing to its potential viewers who are tired from work and daily lives.
