Wavve Originals' upcoming romantic comedy-drama "You Raise Me Up" starring EXID member Ahn Hee Yeon, most commonly known as Hani, and "Nokdu Flower" actor Yoon Si Yoon released brand new stills on August 25.
In the drama, Hani transforms into a gorgeous urologist who meets his first love once again in the most hilarious and unexpected way. Hani also shared her experience on portraying the role of a urology specialist in her new drama.
EXID Hani to Portray a Urologist in 'You Raise Me Up'
Hani started her career as a singer and a member of the girl group EXID before venturing into the acting scene of South Korean television.
She appeared in various popular dramas "SF8," "The Producers," and "The Spies Who Loved Me."
Hani recently led Kakao TV's web series "How to Be Thirty" before landing the role of Lee Lu Da in the forthcoming drama series.
In the newly released stills, Hani showed off her A-list and timeless beauty in her white, long lab gown as a urologist.
She also shared a glimpse of her daily life as a urology specialist in the hospital, confidently performing a serious and delicate surgery.

EXID Hani Shares The Most Challenging Part in Portraying a Urologist
Hani revealed the process of synchronizing with her character meticulously for work. She shared, "Unlike her stern and reserved appearance as a doctor, Lu Da has a chill and soft side. There is always something to her, the main reason why I am more curious about the character, and how the public will welcome her as a urology specialist."
She also shared the reason why she chose the drama as her next project. Hani explained, "I wanted to see the life of the characters from the different walks of life in the perspective of the main character Lee Lu Da."
Hani also requested the viewers to look forward to seeing the drama. "There are many things that I truly sympathized with while doing the drama.I hope you will join us in that lovely and joyful process."

The upcoming romantic comedy-drama series "You Raise Me Up" is produced by Studio S, written by screenwriter Mo Ji Hye, and directed by Kim Jang Han.
"You Raise Me Up" consists of a total of eight episodes that feature the hilarious and romantic combination of EXID's Hani and actor Yoon Si Yoon.
