Ji Chang Wook and Paek Jin Hee had a ceremonial night but they couldn't have a proper wedding night.

On the 8th episode of MBC Monday/Tuesday "Empress Ki" (script Jang Young Chul Jung Kyung Soon, director Han Hee Lee Sung Joon) aired on November 19th, Tanasili (played by Paek Jin Hee) and Ta Whan (played by Ji Chang Wook) had a ceremonial marriage but they couldn't have their wedding night.

On this day, emperor Ta Whan promises Yeon Chul (played by Jun Gook Hwan) that he would marry his daughter Tanasili to save his own life and meets Tansili as his wife.

Ta Whan wore a royal robe and Tanasili wore fancy accessories as they wed as husband and wife  in front of Yeon Chul, Empress Kim Suh Hyung.

Ta Whan went to the newlywed room after hearing from the empress (played by Kim Suh Hyung) that Tansili should not give birth to an heir.  Meanwhile, Tanasili received orders from Yun Chul that she must conceive an heir and goes to the newlywed room to wait for Ta Whan.

Ta Whan drank a lot and says to Tanasili who lies next to him, "Empress you're so beautiful.  Your body and your face.  How are you the fairest of the fair.

Tanasili said, "Please bury your tired body here.  Please, Your majesty," and tempted Ta Whan.  However, Ta Whan buried his face in Tanasili's chest and snored as he went to sleep.  In the end, Ta Whan and Tanasili didn't have a wedding night.
