Following all the controversies and other malicious posts pertaining to Song Ji Hyo, her agency finally spoke up and made a statement to take legal action against the commenters.

On January 4, Creative Group ING, Song Ji Hyo's home agency released an official statement regarding malicious actions against the "Running Man" mainstay.

The agency began their message by thanking all the numerous fans who supported the actress all throughout her career up until now. In continuation, they want to inform the public about their response to the infringements of rights against "The Witch's Diner" star.

Creative Group ING explained that malicious rumors based on false information, malicious comments and posts, and other online posts that insult the actress on other online portals and social media have been getting worse.

In addition, publishing posts that qualify as defamation to her image as a public figure that is based on groundless information that hasn't been confirmed is clearly illegal, and to protect our artist, it is just right to subject those commenters to strong legal action.

The company also stated that they are fully aware of the illegal activities due to self-monitoring and numerous reports from the fans. Creative Group ING further explained that they understand that it could be freedom of expression that occurs on the internet, but they decided to no longer overlook these actions.

There Will Be No Settlement to Whoever Get Caught Spreading False Information Against Song Ji Hyo

As they concluded their official statement, the agency said that they intend to strengthen protection for Song Ji Hyo and plan on carrying out legal responses against malicious actions. They also highlighted that there will be no leniency or settlement in this process.

During her appearance in "Running Man" where she had a new hair look, Song Ji Hyo received mixed reactions from the public. Many were also disappointed about her short hair and even her hairstylist was bombarded by negative comments by the netizens online.

Since the issue was already addressed, Creative Group ING wants to show their full support to Song Ji Hyo by taking care of her image.

Meanwhile, Song Ji Hyo continued to appear in public as she regularly participates in SBS' longest-running variety show, "Running Man." Her on screen romance with co-star Kim Jong Kook also gets lots of interest from the viewers.

On the other hand, last December, Creative Group ING also announced to take strong legal actions against malicious comments and personal attacks on "Moonshine" actress Hyeri.
