TVING's megahit web drama "The Witch's Diner," which starred Song Ji Hyo, Nam Ji Hyun, and Chae Jong Hyeop, will start airing again in January!
An official from "The Witch's Diner" team informed the public that the fantasy series is expected to return on screen. The drama was produced as a TVING original and was only released through an online streaming platform.
tvN to Air 'The Witch's Diner' in January
Due to the viewers' demand, "The Witch's Diner" will meet the audience again, and this time, tvN is in charge of producing each episode, scheduled to air from January every Wednesday and Thursday.
When "The Witch's Diner" episode 1 was released on YouTube, it immediately garnered attention for its unique concept. The web series was quick to gain 1.8 million views days after the first episode aired.
Why Song Ji Hyo's 'The Witch's Diner' Was a Hit
"The Witch's Diner" was Song Ji Hyo's drama comeback after "Was It Love" in 2020. Since she played the role of a witch, Jo Hee Ra, the "Running Man" star was lauded for her sophisticated and modern fashion styling.
Her synergy with Nam Ji Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop was solid. Director So Jae Hyun, who helmed "100 Days My Prince" and "Secret Forest," received favorable comments, alongside co-director Lee Soo Hyun.

Ji Hyo responded, "If there will be a chance I would definitely appear in Season 2. It's Jin's witch restaurant now, but if Jo Hee Ra can help, I am willing to appear again."
