New webtoon-based series "The Witch" might have GOT7 Jinyoung and Noh Jung Ui as main leads!

K-media outlets shared on April 28 that idol-actor Jinyoung and rising actress Noh Jung Ui are rumored to star in the forthcoming drama adaptation of the webtoon-based series "The Witch."
BH Entertainment, Jinyoung's agency, and Noh Jung Ui's company Namoo Actors stated that the artists received offers to appear in the drama. The potential lead stars are positively reviewing it.
To be helmed by director Kim Tae Kyun, "The Witch" follows the story of a guy who falls in love with a woman called "witch."
Jinyoung To Potential Play the Role of a Statistics College Major Student
If Park Jinyoung accepts the offer, he will act as Lee Dong Jin, a statistics college major graduate who was scouted by Shine Solution and dubbed as the best data miner in the industry.
When he was still in school, he met Park Mi Jung, a student whom most people around the campus called a witch. The only thing he could do for her at that time was to stay beside her and believe that rumors about Mi Jung were not true.
She leaves school and Lee Dong Jin loses contact with her.

Noh Jung Ui To Showcase Her English Skills in 'The Witch'
On the other hand, Noh Jung Ui, who starred in the SBS series "Our Beloved Summer," was offered to play Park Mi Jung's role, a woman who enjoys freedom. At exactly 3:30 in the morning, she changes her ordinary clothes to beautiful dresses and leaves her rooftop home.
Since she has good skills in English, Mi Jung becomes a full-time translator. Her mother died when she gave birth to her. Even though she's always alone and does nothing, Park Mi Jung steals the spotlight because of her mysterious aura.
Guys started to have a crush on her. But that's when she's caught up in rumors in which her classmates labelled her as a witch.
Despite mistreatment she experienced in school, she always remembers the guy who has a handsome face and smiles at her everytime they meet on campus.
Furthermore, the romance series "The Witch" drama team has a goal to start filming before this year ends. It might also be released in various OTT platforms once the team finishes discussing the production distribution.
