The 21-year-old actress Noh Jung Ui challenged herself with the SBS romance comedy drama "Our Beloved Summer." The drama is her first work as an adult, after being in the industry for a decade as a child actress.
Noh Jung Ui made her television debut in 2010 through the OCN drama "God's Quiz." Because of her promising performance, she also appeared in many popular dramas like "Dream High 2," "Cheer Up, Mr. Kim!," "Pinocchio" and more as a younger version of the female leads.

According to the actress, the nickname "child actress" doesn't bother her as much as it did before.
She said, "There are people who see me for the first time and there are also people who have seen me since I was a child. I don't like the title [child actor], but I also don't want to force it off."
She reasons, "If I get recognized for my performance as an adult actor, I think the nickname will come off naturally."

"I understood her [NJ] because when you're in the entertainment industry, it's hard to make long-lasting friendships," Noh Jung Ui said, "I started working at such a young age. It honestly gets a little lonely when I go home from work, there's not a lot of people [because we get off very late at night]."

"NJ's hair is brown in the first filming, but it changes to bright yellow," the actress shared. The decision to bleach her hair bright blonde is suggested by the drama director.
Noh Jung Ui worried about her new look at first, but looked at the silver lining of it. She uses this new change in her appearance to look more sultry and sophisticated, completely changing her "sweet child actress" persona in the industry, and creating a name for herself.
When asked about her next project, the actress revealed that she will take a break from acting first. Noh Jung Ui revealed, "I'll come back as an actor who has improved acting skills and abilities. I'll continue to work hard and greet you again with a greater image."
